General Assistant

Exciting opportunity to join our small team for the 2022 season on the wonderful Isle of Iona, which is world famous for its stunning natural beauty and rich history. Bishop House is a retreat house which accommodates groups of up to 23 people, usually for week-long stays. We pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome and great standard of hospitality. Maybe this is your opportunity to work as part of a supportive and dedicated team in this iconic place. You would help us provide a warm welcome and a great guest experience. Combined duties in hospitality and housekeeping to ensure the smooth running of the business, under the support and direction of the Hospitality Supervisor, including welcoming guests, daily cleaning routines, changeovers, meal set up and clearing away, occasional gardening. Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team essential.

35 per week (but possibility of 39 hours if desired), combination of split and early shits, two days off each week. Rate of pay - £9.90 per hour. Start date - 21st February until early November, accommodation and board provided for small deduction.
