Seeking self employed, part time Support Worker for two half days per week, to provide structured support at home and in the community, for approximately 8 hours per week.
Compassionate and experienced Support Worker needed for mental health patient in recovery. Male client of 65 years recovering from long stay in a Mental Health Ward, where medication needed to be stabilised. Currently suffering anxiety and loss of confidence in everyday living.
His interests include walking and climbing, painting, creative writing and football. The right person would need to engage with him in activities both at home and in the local community, and help work towards specific goals.
I am his wife and main carer and need weekly respite. We are based in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside.
Pay £15 per hour. Experience essential, must have references and be self employed for tax and insurance purposes.
