Experienced Graphic Designer / Printing

We are currently seeking a candidate for part-time employment (with extension to full-time later) with previous experience as a Graphic Designer within Print industry.

Within the team, you will be responsible for:

creating diverse range of marketing collateral – from branding and logo development, right through to retail window campaign development and implementation, development of graphics for in-store use, websites and social media channels, web creatives, emails and social content. This will also include working to a client’s brief and communicating effectively with other team members, as also dealing with new and existing clients.

Key Requirements for the role:

+ Previous experience within Small Format & Large Format Graphics and Signage - required

+ Manage, plan & organise the design studio, meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once,

+ Develop visual designs on screen for clients, customer presentations and orders.

+ Work closely with all company staff as necessary; to deliver a high quality of design detail and meet the customer’s specific requirements.

+ Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & In-design - essential to set up print-ready PDF artwork with bleed & crop marks, work efficiently with large format files (file compression)

+ Very good customer service skills. Dealing with new and existing clients on the phone by e-mail and face to face. Giving advise on products and assisting with general queries.

+ Oversee the digital printing operation and in-house finishing process.

+ This position requires someone who is innovative, creative, eager to learn and, has a sharp eye for latest trends and a very keen eye for detail.

Job Type: Part-Time ( Monday to Friday ) - 6 hours a day with view to more working hours later on

Salaries: based on experience (starts from £10)

The position is based in Glasgow near city centre

Very good knowledge of adobe software: Photoshop + InDesign + Illustrator
