Experienced Bedroom Fitter/Installer

DM Design is actively seeking an enthusiastic, skilled carpenter/joiner to assist with installations of bespoke bedrooms.

Established in 1984, with our main showroom in Cumbernauld, DM Design specialises in the design, manufacture, build, delivery and installation of Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms. About the role

We require a hard-working, focused individual capable of working in a team on a variety of projects nationwide. Reporting to the Operations Director, the ideal candidate will be passionate, motivated and capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment. Customer relationship management is a key success to this role as you will be the main point of contact throughout the installation.

Technically competent carpenter.
Clean Driving Licence.
Ability to communicate clearly, work under pressure and able to maintain deadlines.
Manage own workload.
Must be able to understand bedroom design drawings and architectural drawings.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fitting kitchens.
A valid CSCS card is also useful.

Employment

This role can be on a self-employed contractual basis, price work or indeed employed with ample supply of work for the right candidates. Must have own tools and a maximum of 3 penalty points on your driving licence.

Bedroom fitting knowledge is essential as is great customer service skills and a can-do attitude. You will be working with high-quality products and will be required to carry out multiple installations per month. Willingness to travel and work at a fast pace is essential and rewarded with very competitive rates of pay.
