Evening Support Worker

On offer is a salary of GBP18,375 (Pro Rata) progressing to GBP19,346 (pro-rata) on satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period assessment. A further increase after 1 year of service to GBP20,428 (Pro-rata). Other benefits include membership of the Westfield healthcare scheme; 28 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (Pro-rata).

A vacancy for a Weekend Support Worker has arisen at a charity which houses and supports vulnerable clients. The post holder will be based in Rotherham and will be working within the new rough sleeper's initiative accommodation.

The Support Worker will provide essential life skills which will include preparing meals and engaging clients in diversionary activities. The post holder will be expected to clean and set up rooms for new clients.

Experience of providing a service to vulnerable groups Experience of delivering supported housing services. Experience of delivering services to clients' housing and accommodation In-depth and up to date knowledge of Welfare Benefits System. Knowledge of Supporting People and role of statutory authorities Experience in risk assessment and support planning Understanding of the Judiciary System in the UK This position is based on 13 hours per week, working on a Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9.00 am till 3.30 pm. This is initially a temporary contract for 1 year
