JOB TITLE: Energy Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:2+ years' PQE

LOCATION: Leeds

THE TEAM:

You will be joining a highly respected department within a top 100, a national law firm that has advised on the major award-winning projects. The team is experienced in project finance, public-private partnerships, construction and engineering and commercial transactions. They advise on projects in a wide range of sectors including: general commercial, construction, energy and renewables, infrastructure. The team has an exceptional reputation in acting for project developers, project companies, contractors, local authorities and sub-contractors.

THE SOLICITOR:

The firm is looking for someone who is motivated and ambitious, with an enthusiasm and drive to work in projects involving transactional work (e.g. construction or other commercial work streams). The Partners will consider Solicitors with at least 2 years' PQE gained in a commercial area of law within a leading national or regional law firm. This role is perfect for those with a good grounding in some form of commercial/transactional work, who wish specialise within this specialist sector. The successful Solicitor will be integrated into a supportive and motivated team, where training will be given to get the candidate up to speed. One of the key attributes required is a passion to learn, enthusiasm and the desire to excel. Great opportunity to gain excellent experience, further development and career opportunities.
