Electrician

Job Description.

We are looking for a reliable, organised, hard-working Electrician to join the Engineering team in Peeblesshire.

The role will include electrical installation, testing and maintenance of equipment in our factories and poultry sheds. Salary dependent on experience and skill set.

The ideal candidate will have had prior employment of 12 months or more in a similar environment and have experience with 3 phase and lighting control systems.

Responsibilities and duties include

Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works for all electrical equipment within our production facility
Ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
To assist the Engineering team, when required, with additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the site.
Work safely at all times and the ability to understand the contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations.
