Description

Teacher of Design Technology and Graphics - Luton.

TimePlan Education is working with an academy trust in the Luton area to recruit a teacher of Design Technology and Graphics for a September 2020 start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing academy trust that has a real focus on improving teaching standards to raise attainment for all learners across the schools.

You will be required to teach Design Technology and Graphics up to KS5. The school is keen to see applications from both NQTs and more experienced teachers. You will be paid on MPS 1-MPS 6 depending on your experience.

The trust has several schools with close links to one another who share exceptional facilities and the latest school technology. There are opportunities for students from each school to work together during extra-curricular trips and activities. For the KS4/5 students, there are opportunities to provide mentoring support and guidance for younger students, helping to develop qualities such as leadership, communication and teamwork, key skills when progressing to further education or employment.

All the schools in the trust are 'good' or 'outstanding' following recent Ofsted inspections and strength across the trust is behaviour management.

Our specialist permanent education team at TimePlan will support you all the way through the application and interview process with the view to you securing your next permanent position for the new academic year. We are a team of dedicated consultants who have previously worked in schools and alternative education providers so that we can provide accurate advice and guidance throughout the process.

TimePlan Education Group Limited is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a successful Enhanced Disclosure, Barring Service (DBS) check and two professional references.
