At Home Supported Living Services our aim is to offer a wide and comprehensive range of services, on a non-profit-making basis to people of any age with disabilities and to the over 60's.
Our services are tailor-made to the individual needs of each client and are designed to keep people as independent as possible in their own homes.
We are a registered charity (Scottish Charity No 030095). We do charge for our services but only at a level sufficient to cover staff wages and operating cost.
Practical tasks our Home Carers are Happy to do:
Housework - cleaning of kitchen and bathroom, hoovering of carpets, dusting, bed making and changing linen, empty bin contents to outside bins.
Laundry - washing and drying laundry including items and bed linen in users own machine or, if not available, at a launderette.
Shopping - Help clients plan appropriately for shopping requirements, go to the nearest shops and collect the shopping, checking receipts and change on return and safely storing the goods purchased.
Collection of prescriptions and payments of bills.
Befriending - a walk around the block, a chat, out for a coffee and companionship.
