Contracted days and hours Monday to Thursday Option 1) 7 am to 9 am with a break from 3 pm to 6.30 pm – a total of 22 hours per week. Option 2) 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm a total of 20 hours a week. Additional hours offered if Housekeeping. One babysit per week. Additional hours in school holidays.

Overview

A young professional working couple is seeking an experienced local nanny who will take sole charge of care. The children attend independent schools which are a short drive – happy to insure the nanny on the family car. Their current nanny of 4 years is relocating. Organised and welcoming home.

As both parents working day starts at 8 am, having a nanny that can do the morning and return in the afternoon is preferred. The children do go to camps in the school holidays, but it would be ideal if the nanny was open to working additional hours/longer days on the days they do not go.

Standard nanny duties of the school run, cooking a healthy meal for kids only, supporting school homework, entertaining with play, children’s laundry, keeping bedrooms tidy and keeping all used areas clean and tidy.

Key requirements

Professional childcare experience with checkable references.
Fluent English if not native
Hold UK driving licence, experienced driver in London
Ability to support school homework – guide and encourage
A good role model who is firm but fair, easy to engage with, upbeat character.
Easy commute.
Willing to commit 12months minimum (longer the better)
Confident cook.
