Description

As a Credit Risk Contractor, you'll be accomplished with model development, forecasting, reporting and devising credit risk strategies. If you want to take your career to the next level and you live within a commutable distance to Newcastle Upon Tyne, don't miss out on this banking role, where you could be earning a day rate of between GBP600 to GBP675.

The Credit Risk Contractor role will be twofold. You will provide modelling support alongside forecasting and reporting support. You will set up structured data requests for actuals and projection templates, ensuring a consistent governance approach. Developing, coding and implementing existing and future statistical forecasting and stress test modelling will be part of your every day, ensuring compliance with the group risk framework.

Additionally, you'd be implementing loss forecasting and stress testing to support the group in business planning and to meet its regulatory requirements, for example, the firm's annual ICAAP and ACS stress-testing exercise.

Your core Credit Risk Assessor Skills:

Your background will be in mathematical and analytical techniques with a practical understanding of predictive models and AIRB and IFRS9 risk metrics.

You'll have experience in developing forecasting methodologies, credit risk modelling, working in a data-driven or quantitative role within financial services.

Working as part of a team and independently will be critical to this role, as will your problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to share your knowledge of sophisticated models to senior management.

You'll be no stranger to statistical analysis methodologies such as GLMs and Decision Trees, and have a thorough understanding of various statistical methodologies including linear regression, and other advanced analytic methods.
