We have various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools in Kent. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area we are looking for Cover Supervisors to take up the multiple positions we have available.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style, roles like this are ideal for graduates or coaches with teaching experience. This role will enable you to work on a full time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. We work with a variety of schools from rural schools too large inner-city academies.
What you will need to succeed
In order to be a secondary supply teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status, or have relevant teaching experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manner at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to TAs and other people in the school.
