Courier Controller / Despatch - Dispatcher - Sameday - Logistics

We are a market-leading courier company running over 50 motorbikes and 60 vans. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced courier controller to join the busy professional team.

From the HQ in W3, you will control and co-ordinate the resources and manage the busy customer base.

What we are looking for:

3 years min exp in the same day or similar role
Allocation of work to couriers in a fair and transparent manner.
Ensuring a high level of customer service from booking to completion.
Can do, flexible attitude
keeping clients and fellow employees informed of any delays or issues
Freedom software an advantage
Ensure your fleet size is sufficient to service your clients particularly during peak periods
Proactively keeping clients and fellow employees informed of any delays or issues
Have the ability to manage different personalities within the fleet
You must have a good knowledge of London, have excellent communication skills and be polite on the phone when dealing with customers.
