Chef De Partie

We are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie with previous experience to join our award-winning team at the Scafell Hotel. Our restaurant holds a 2 AA Rosette award and a Visit England Gold award alongside the Visit England Breakfast award.

We require someone who understands the role and the ability to run a section. Ideally knows and understands culinary terms. This person should have the ability to work on any section of the kitchen and maintain a standard at all times. At least 5-6 years kitchen experience as a commis, not 6 months!

The successful candidates will help to provides an exceptional guest tasting experience. You must also be passionate about food with previous experience of working within a similarly high-quality Country House Hotel.

Assisting the head chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation. Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the hotel’s standards of quality and quantity. Maintaining the hotel’s standards of personal appearance, cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen areas. To communicate, liaise and maintain working relationships with the Restaurant Manager, Waiting for staff and the rest of the kitchen team. Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
