Female Personal Assistant needed for Stoke Gifford Area
Job purpose and work duties:
To assist a 56-year-old lady who has advanced stage MS and as such, communication is very important. The applicant must have patience and understanding towards this. The role is to help and support with the day to day activities enabling her, as the employer, to maintain an independent and fulfilling life. All training will be given but experience in care would an advantage.
Helping with;
Personal care
Organising medication
Some domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal/snack
Shopping
Taking me to appointments/social activities
With mobility, ensuring the employer's safety
Ensuring employers home hygienic and safe
You must have a full and clean driving licence
An enhanced DBS check will be required
The hours available are Mondays, 5-6 pm Thursdays 5-6 pm Fridays 9 am - 1:30 pm plus 2.5 hours per week activity time, going for walks, out for coffee, shopping etc. extra hours also available for holiday and sick cover for other carers in the team.
