Care Assistant (Driving positions)

Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear

Salary: GBP9.00 per hour

Contract: Both full time and part-time permanent positions available

DK Home Support are an established care company with a 'Good' CQC rating, we provide support for our clients to live as independently as possible within their own home and support them out into the community.

What we are looking for?

Due to our excellent reputation and ongoing demand for our services; we are recruiting for caring and compassionate Care Assistants to join us on either a full time or a part-time basis within the Deckham, Birtley, Leam Lane or Springwell areas.

We have a range of positions from full time to part-time, with the following shift patterns available:

* Part-time and full-time morning positions 6 am - Lunch or tea with flexible finishing times

* Part-time and full-time evening positions flexible start times until 11 pm

* Part-time and full-time fixed set days to work around your other commitments

* Weekend work

* Full time and part-time fully flexible positions to suit around your lifestyle

All our staff have to work alternate weekends or one permanent set day on a weekend to ensure you get the time off needed with family and to make it fair on all our staff.

Due to the nature of domiciliary care and having to travel between client's homes, it is essential that you can drive and have access to a car for this role.

Your Role - Care Assistant:

* You will be delivering high-quality care within the client's homes, helping them with their daily lives and offering a person-centred care approach.

* Your role may involve helping clients access the community for social activities such as shopping or cinema trips, or hospital appointments etc. ** Current restrictions apply during COVID-19 **

* Helping prepare meals, domestic support and personal care support
