Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Salary: Up to GBP25000 per annum plus a Generous Commission Scheme

So if this sounds like somewhere you would love to work, then read on! We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to drive the growth of our business. This is a key role and you'll be responsible for ensuring we track, respond and close every single new business opportunity, no matter the conclusion. This will be a varied role, where you will get to develop new skills working closely with our CCO and support the wider Sales & Marketing Team to convert all new business opportunities.

This is a consultative role where you will liaise with a diverse selection of customers and prospects in the education sector. Whilst you won't have to develop new business from scratch you will have well-developed skills, such as being able to think on your feet, being flexible in your approach, and having the professionalism and personality to influence key stakeholders. With a strong and growing portfolio of services and products to help our customers, you will enjoy a varied role, actively discussing service solutions with education stakeholders.

What we are looking for:-

Honesty, integrity and excellent relationship management

Experience of meeting targets, goals & KPIs

Business to business sales experience would be beneficial

Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships over the phone

Ability to sell

A self-starter - able to act on own initiative with drive and determination

An understanding of the education market would be beneficial

An understanding of sales software would be beneficial.
