Circa 1880-1890. The wonderful piece is fitted with a Griffin glass chimney which rises above the elegant Amber coloured glass lampshade, leading down to the brass twin burning mechanism, which is stamped, English made. The piece sits upon a sturdy circular glazed ceramic base, with a feathered brass central column, and a large clear oil reservoir. The Lamp is in excellent condition commensurate with age. The Amber glass shade is broken at the bottom of the rim (please see images). This imperfection is mainly concealed when it is housed into the brass gallery, however, one may wish to change the shade at a later date.
