Breco Accounting are an independent accountancy firm operating from the East End of Glasgow.

The hours are permanent paid weekly basis and can be either full time or part time to suit

Our experience and knowledge of accounting, tax advisory and business issues mean we are ideally placed to support businesses of all sizes, sectors and ages, including start-ups and new enterprises.

We are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a part time basis.

You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Maintaining core accounting records, Completion of VAT Returns, Preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations

Be able to work towards agreed targets and meet deadlines.

Identify and escalate any potential issues.

Experience within a similar role, good working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software including SAGE, QuickBooks, XERO and internally VT.

1-2 years’ experience is essential and will require minimal training and supervision

You must have good communication skills and be confident to discuss matters with clients demonstrating a high level of professionalism, have a pro-active and problem-solving approach to their work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
