7-seater, 5 seats are removable, two captains chairs at the front, two captains chairs at the back plus a bench seat for three. 288,135 miles on the meter, full-service history, much of it has been mechanically overhauled or replaced over the years so its mileage isn't indicative of actual wear and tear on the whole of the van. Runs really well start every time, solid and dependable.
We bought this VW van to move house recently; it performed outstandingly, but we've realised we're tent campers at heart and think it's better intended for a family or individuals who want to use it properly as a campervan instead - in time for the summer holidays! Also a great utility vehicle, the option to remove all the seats makes it exceptionally versatile.
It is designed to be a campervan, with all window curtains in perfect nick, including a curtain that can go across the front windscreen, as well as curtains that go across behind the two front seats. The two front seats and two of the back seats have flip-down arms which make cruising really comfy. Flip-down arms for the three back seats as well. Four DC charging points in all (3 at the back plus former cigarette lighter space on dash at front), removable Pure DAB radio/CD stereo system, air conditioning in front and back with individual controls at both front and back, spare tyre, jack, tools, spare hubcap. Custom-made boarding also included (constructed by the previous owner, a carpenter) to make up a bed base on top of seats in the back and a single bed in the front, suitable for a small family. Tinted back windows. Proper spare tyre, not one of those 'use for 30 minutes only' things. Back shelf intact, with lots of storage space underneath, as well as extra space under the 3-person bench seat at the back. Blue and grey interior, a good few scrapes and touch-ups here and there in line with its age and use, but all in all in really good condition.
