1996 Iveco Daily Turbo Beavertail Recovery Truck

Iveco Daily Recovery / Car Transporter, Unladen weight 1800kg. Iveco Daily Turbo Beaver tail recovery truck. We bought this as a stop gap until our new truck arrived. Done several trips around the country moving saloons, estates, small vans etc etc. Very reliable, never missed a beat for us. The Mileage is showing 85k. However, the speedo works intermittently so this may be a bit higher. There is a stack of MOT history with her which backs up the low mileage however. The winch (6Tonne) is almost brand new and works perfectly with the wand or the remote control wand. We will provide a nearly new set of straps with her also. When we bought it we had a service done and fitted a new fan belt just in case due to the age of the truck. This was only a few weeks ago! Its fitted with a dog leg gear box which takes a little while to get used to if you've not used before, but it was the first one id driven and within a trip or two I was into it no problem. Basically you only use first if you have a very heavy load. the engine has huge torgue so it wont win any speed records but it will carry a huge weight easily. The ramps are secured to the truck and slide underneath for storage. I've had some quite low cars on the back and havn't had an issue with clearance on any. There's a tow bar and elecrtic connections that will come with the truck, its not fitted (2 bolts) but there if you did need it. Happy for you to come and inspect, test etc. Please don't be put off by the age, this truck real hasn't had a hard life and the chassis is solid as is the bed. Only bad points worth mentioning are: Lock barrels need changing, I've got a new set which will go with the truck, just not changed yet. Shes parked indoors with us so not worried about it. The drivers door handle need to be reconnected, can only open from in side at the moment. Easy fix, just need a spare hour. There's also a small drip coming from one of the power steering pipes. Dosnt effect anything, we just top it up when the level light comes on. The MOT is till December 2015. All in all this is a great reliable truck that's ready to work.
